The U.G course was inaugurated
in the academic year 1971-1972 followed by P.G course in
1980. in 1997 M.Phil was introduced. Job oriented subjects
like Tourism, Journalism, Environmental History and Human
Rights are offered in the UG & PG levels. Vocational course
of Archaeology and Museology was also experimented between
1998-2004.
